NZCECE has realistic diploma entry criteria. Students may enter the College from year 12 or 13, by completing an approved Level 4 certificate at a tertiary college, or as an adult student.

Study once, gain three awards, choose between two excellent careers! The College's course is unique in that it combines three qualifications into one course: Diploma of Teaching (ECE), Diploma CACHE (UK) and the New Zealand Certificate in Nanny Education formerly the National Nanny Certificate.

The Diploma CACHE (UK) and New Zealand Certificate in Nanny Education formerly the National Nanny Certificate are only available for on campus students.

Popular Distance Option
Distance learning means that some of our students study from as far away as Te Anau or Kaitaia. Many of our distance learners balance study with full or part time work in an early childhood centre.

The College focuses on emphasising the practical, hands-on approach with its students. Practicum experiences give students valuable experience in a wide range of early childhood settings.
