The College Programme is three years long and you will be awarded the Diploma of Teaching (ECE) Level 7 at the successful completion of Stage 3. You will be awarded with the NZ Certificate in Nanny Education qualification along the way. This qualification is built into the one programme, so that you study one programme and receive two major qualifications.
After successful completion of Stage 1 you will receive the New Zealand Certificate in Nanny Education (formerly the National Nanny Certificate). The New Zealand Certificate in Nanny Education formerly the National Nanny Certificate is a practical qualification with lots of hands-on experience in the care of young children. After successful completion of Stage 3 you will receive the Diploma of Teaching (ECE) Level 7. Graduates of the College can further their professional qualifications through the Leadership programme which is available to qualified early childhood teachers who have been working in an early childhood education center for more than one year. The NZ Certificate in Nanny Education qualification can only be achieved through On Campus Training.
