Recreational opportunities abound! It’s not so much a matter of finding things to do, but of finding time to do it all. Ski fields are within easy reach, beaches, hills for mountain biking or walking, as well as movie theatres, art galleries, concerts and cultural events. Transport is easy, accommodation is plentiful and living expenses very reasonable: all in all, Christchurch is a great place to live as a student.
