Student Services

Everything you need! At the NZCECE we aim to provide you with the tools you need for successful study. We also aim to assist your development of a balanced life.

You have support when you need it. At the NZCECE we believe that the personal and professional development of students is a big part of our responsibility.

Our approach to the wellbeing of students is proactive and integrated into all of our policies. In particular, we have a commitment to:

  • Educational opportunity for the nurture and enrichment of every individual student.
  • Help for every person to develop a strong, positive self-image.
  • Support for the individual with one-to-one tutoring.
  • An environment that builds initiative and independence.
  • An assessment of Individual Learning Styles catered for in the teaching programme.
  • Options for positive outcomes where situations have become destructive or negative.
  • To engender a spirit of equality – regardless of ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation, religious or political belief, disability or age.

To assist in these goals, we include in our programme:

  • Regular tutor group meetings – a chance to meet and form relationships with a small group of peers and with your assigned tutor.
  • Regular debriefing sessions – a private meeting with your assigned tutor to discuss course work or practicum.
