On Campus Programme

The On Campus programme is designed for students who wish to study full time in a campus environment.  On Campus students will enjoy the benefits of small class sizes, specialist tutors, and strong tutor group support and specialist facilities. 

The New Zealand Certificate in Nanny Education Level 5 is awarded at the successful completion of Stage 1.

Field-based Programme

The Field-based programme is designed for students already working in a licensed early childhood centre who wish to update their qualifications while working. 

Field-based students will enjoy the flexibility of Field-based learning anywhere in New Zealand with the benefits of strong tutor support including two ‘face to face’ teaching weeks per stage during their programme of study.

The Field-based programme also offers the flexibility to complete each stage over a longer period of two years.

The New Zealand Certificate in Nanny Education is not available through the Field-based option.

Focus on Practical Learning

The College focuses on emphasising the practical, hands-on approach with its students. Professional Teaching Practice experiences give students valuable experience in a wide range of early childhood settings.
