Distance Block Week Dates
Each
stage of the Diploma of Teaching (ECE) distance programme has 2 block
weeks; one at the beginning and one that can be completed after 6 or 12
months.
Each block week accommodates 2 groups of students at each stage, those beginning the stage and those mid way through.
The minimum time allowable to complete a stage is 1 year.The maximum allowable time is 2 years.

Mid programme block week classes are filled to students confirming their attendance on a first in first served basis. Additional 'block weeks' will be run, to accomodate students if required. Dates will be confirmed to those affected.
Study time for the distance programmes may take 20 hours per week of self directed study and participants must be working in teaching in a Licensed Early Childhood Centre for a minimum of 15 hours per week for the duration of the programme.
